A Busy Sorta Day

Sorry for not blogging earlier today. I got kinda busy and completely forgot about it. Ooooops...So, here's the low down on my day.

- Well, first of all, the kids are home from school ALL this week. So, that throws my schedule all to hell. I also have to share my computer with the brats and my being online for an extended period of time is doubtful, during the daytime hours.

- SO, I got up and had my usual coffee, just not at the butt-crack of dawn. I rolled out of bed a little after 8 am, for a change. When I came down, Hubby was trying to "rig" my computer speakers to work. He managed to get them working, at least, temporarily. YAY!

- Then the kids and I helped Hubby with his work inventory. We had to go through the closet, the truck, etc and log it all in a spread sheet. We usually do inventory twice a year.

- I made lunch for everyone.

- I cleaned up the downstairs a bit. The kids did their chores. (emptying the dishwasher, take out the trash, take out the recycle)

- I helped Hubs fix the headlights on the truck. Yes, I got dirty hands. Ugh!

- We then made a quick trip to the grocery store and drug store.

- I spent the next 2 hours in the kitchen (chopping, simmering) making home-made goulash. YUMMMM!

- I managed to knit a few rows on the Ruffle Shawl while dinner simmered.

And now here I sit...Hubby is about to drive Miss Hannah over to her friend's house for a sleepover. Then I think we are going to clean out the downstairs closet and get organized. After that...Heroes is on tonight. Gonna watch that, for sure.

And that's about it...BORING! Huh?
