Finished: Turban(d)

I'm still not feeling all that well. So, tonight will be viewed from either my couch, or in bed. No drinking or celebrating too much for me. I will be lucky to be up at midnight. I hate being sick!

I haven't even been knitting all that much. I did make a headband for the teenager...

It was a pretty easy knit...a lot of ribbing. It turned out pretty cute, if you ask me. Hannah loves it. I guess these headbands are pretty popular this Winter??? She said she saw a few at Forever 21 and mentioned that I could knit one for her instead.

Specs On The Headband:

Pattern: Turban(d), a freebie on ravelry.

Yarn: Columbia Minerva Civona, a discontinued acrylic yarn I had in my stash. I used about 150 yards or so. It's just a guess...

Needles: US # 8 straigtht needles.

Size: I made the medium one.

Mods: None.

Time: 4 days...but in my defense, I am sick and was knitting pretty slow.

Verdict: A really simple knit and a cute headband. The teenager loves it and that is all that matters. I may have to make myself one of these headbands. I like the look and it will keep my ears warm. It's darned cold here lately...

Alright, that is about all of the typing I am going to do this afternoon. It takes energy to sit at my computer...I hope I can kick this sickness soon.

Happy New Year!!! May 2013 be a great year for you and yours...
