It's not all that often I get complete "quiet time" around here. During the week, the phone keeps me busy, the cleaning, cooking, the design work, etc. I am always busy doing something. The teenager has been on Winter Break, from school, for over a week now. So, add in "entertaining her," to my list of things to do.
I am currently enjoying two hours of complete quiet. Hubby took the teen out for last minute Holiday shopping. I did clean the kitchen...after that, I made some coffee and sat down to knit. I have been knitting to my heart's content for two hours. It's SO nice, I must say. No interruptions, no drama, no rushing around, no place to be. Just me, some coffee and my knitting. A perfect Saturday afternoon, if you ask me.
I am enjoying this quiet time. Tomorrow I will be running around downtown with the last, last, last minute Xmas shopping. I'm crazy like that.
