So, I Have A Little Addiction

I've noticed lately...that I have a little addiction. I am addicted to notebooks. Big, small...doesn't matter. I use them all. It all started with my knitting and designing. I have little notebooks for my knitting notes. I rarely use a row counter. I prefer the old school pen and notebook to keep track of what row I am on. I use larger spiral notebooks for my design sketches and notes. I also have a notebook to write down my to-do-lists, grocery lists, etc. It's a problem...I have collected way too many notebooks.

These are my design notebooks. They are a mess. I know it doesn't look too bad, in the photo, but they are so disorganized. Loose papers all shoved in there, random notes, post-its, hand drawn sketches and charts, etc. If you pick up a notebook...pages will fall out. I need to organize that mess. That is my mission for today. To make some semblance of order with these design notebooks. I also plan to clean out my knitting basket. I am sure to have loose papers shoved in there too.

I've been knitting. Not as much as I was before I got sick, but I am getting there. My sleep schedule has changed and I have to adjust my knitting time. It's hard getting used to a new schedule. I admit that I am a night owl. I prefer to knit quietly late at night. I now am going to bed much earlier (11 pm) and I am trying to get used to knitting during the day. The only problem with daytime knitting...I get interrupted a lot. Oh well! I shall adjust.

I have made progress on the back piece of my Route 1 pullover. I haven't measured, in inches, my progress. I'm often lazy that way. I love working on the mindless stockinette stitch while watching TV. I started knitting another hat for the Hubby. It's a simple hat. Some ribbing and stockinette stitch. I will share more on the hat as I make some more progress on it. I have knitted a few hexipuffs too. Lastly, I am knitting on a super-secret design. I can't discuss it and I can't share photos of it. I knit on the design project the most, right now. I have a deadline...

So, there you have it. My little notebook addiction and some WIP updates. I need to get back to my knitting now. I hope you all have a lovely Wednesday. Toodles!
