I'm Still Puffin'
I am still hexi-puffin' over here. Day 2 (yesterday) of my weekly challenge resulted in only 2.5 puffs completed. Boo on me! I didn't have as much "in between" time yesterday. I knitted on my new design, instead. Well, it has a deadline. So, that project comes first. My total weekly count for two days is 5.5 puffs finished. I will up that number today.
I took a few pictures of my Beekeeper's Quilt progress...I have finished a total of 228 (not counting my weekly challenge ones) puffs in the past 16 months, a little over halfway done. I keep a count on my ravelry project page. My goal is about 400-ish puffs. I have begun sewing some puffs together, as you can see, slung over the chair. One thing I noticed, after sewing a bunch of puffs together, this quilt is going to be quite heavy. Hmmm...?
I also have to say...I am actually running out of sock yarn scraps. I will need to buy some more skeins of sock yarn. This quilt eats yarn easily. It's great for stash busting, I admit. I need to add some more color variations. I notice that my quilt has a lot of blue and reds. Those are my two favorite colors, of course. I think I need some greens in there. Why don't I have any green sock yarn?
Well, I hope you all have a lovely weekend. Happy Friday to all. I am not sure what my weekend plans are. Grocery shopping, more hexi-puff knitting for sure...
